Usually other hair straighteners make my hair smell like it's burning but this one didn't and I like that you can adjust the temperature because others I have purchased don't have the option. It is really easy to use and love how it leaves my curls

Falls flat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried using this product as both the straightener and curling iron. As a straightener, the plates were small and took too long to straighten since it could only handle so much hair at a time…and my hair is thin to begin with. As for the curling portion I like the cooking fan that made it cool to the touch and to set the curl but despite trying at different angles it just gave my hair a weird flip at the end. I was very disappointed

Good idea, not good results
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the whole idea of this tool to lock the style in, however the tool does not really curl my hair. I tried to put it on the highest heat with the fan and it still only leaves one "sort of" curl at the end. My hair is thick and long (below shoulders). I also don't really recommend this for long hair since the barrel is pretty short and it's hard to wrap all your hair around. I think one of the issues could be the plate (straightener part) isn't big enough to put off heat for the curl to set, which could be why my hair was creasing most of the time instead of a round curl. I even tried to straighten it and it didn't really give my hair a nice clean straight line.Basically the heat component and the shape does not leave your hair curly nor straight.

Easy to use styler

However, it's always challenging for me because my hair would fall back straight in a couple hours no matter what I did. This ConAir styling tool is different, it was easy to use. The tool get hot fairly quickly and the curl lasts longer than other tools that I've tried before. So unique and amazing!

You can adjust the settings and make it how you would like for it to be! This is so helpful especially when you are trying to choose the texture of how you want your curls.

I wish it worked as well as I wanted it to on thic
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really hoping this could be a great, affordable alternative to a certain very expensive cold air styler. Unfortunately, this product just could not handle my very thick, Mediterranean hair. Both the clamp and the cold air fan were too weak to hold my hair in place sturdily and have much of a styling effect. Whatever minimal wave/curl I do manage to get after very persistent use lasts a few seconds before falling back into a limp form. I'm hoping this is a problem with my technique (although I'm not too hopeful) rather than the product, so we'll see.
On the plus side, the straighter function worked better for some reason and my hair responded well to the classic flat iron functionality. Unfortunately, not the feature I was crossing my fingers to have work better.

Disappointing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried twice to use the cool air luxe styler to curl my hair. The first time I followed the suggested temperature for my hair. It didn't curl the hair at all. I was able to somewhat use the straightner.
The second time, I tried a higher temp. It only curled the ends of my hair no matter how many times and ways I tried. It looked silly to only have the bottom inch somewhat curly. The straightener worked better on the higher temp.
I did not notice the cool air. I could hear it as it sounded like a travel blow dryer. I tried moving my hand around and did not notice any cool air (or any air) blowing out of it.
I also think my dedicated straightener works better than this.

Quick, easy, and doesn't catch my hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was super easy to use. The fan made my hair cool enough that it cut normal styling times about ten or so minutes since I didn't have to wait for my hair to cool to continue styling. The best part though? With my regular straightener, my hair always catches when I use it to curl, but there has been zero catch the 4 times I've used this. I think it's a fantastic tool for daily use.

Great all in one
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a great all in one it helps your hair not get burn while either curling or straighten your hair, it helps you protect your hair from so much heat the only down side I had was that the top end doesn't have a way to handle while curling or straighten and I would get burn a bit but other then that it's the best tool to have at home which gives you the benefit of cooling while curling or straighten or either turning off the cooling process. This is a must have for every women and easy to carry around.

Works like a regular flat iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did like how this makes it easier to curl your hair with a flat iron. It curls great and would be great for someone who has a hard time with a regular flat iron. I didn't expect for the outside of it to be so hot, I thought the cool air feature would be cooler than it was. It was not so hot as to burn you but still hot to the touch. It did produce great curls that last great!

Amazing Tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm soo happy they finally came up with something that is not bad for my hair. The COOL AIR technology is a genius invention. My hair is less damaged and styles great. My only complaint is that the wand doesn't open too wide. Which is kind of frustrating but it's not really a problem or a reason that could hold me back from buying again.

Good but could be better

That being said, it gives a nice curl, but I don't find that the curls last any longer. I like the beach hair look & I found it wasn't easily achieved so I prefer a curling wand over this.

Curls great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually use a beachwaver for my beachy curls and this is a great alternative. This cools as it curls with the fan and made my morning routine a breeze. The curls didn't last as long as with my beachwaver but I have super thick coarse hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very thick hair and it's naturally wavy and very stubborn. Unfortunately this product is not for me as my hair won't budge. Sure it will flatten my hair but it's nowhere near straight. Curler won't work whatsoever on me.

Holds curl well

I was really excited for the opportunity to try this product and was intrigued by the cool air technology. Overall, I found it easy to use and it heats up quickly, though I do wish the power button was in a different location. My hair curled easily and more importantly HELD the curl for a while. I think the cooling fan really makes a difference in helping the curls to set!

User Friendly for Beginners

Love this styler!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It heats up quickly, never pulls or pinches any of my hair, and painlessly creates beautiful curls. The plates slide effortlessly over my hair sections while the air blows gently, and I have my hair styled in a matter of a couple of minutes. It truly is amazing and is actually way better than I expected! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone. I have extremely fine hair, and it styles it beautifully and the style holds all day.

Great Tool, once you figure out how to turn it on!

The features/options were great. However, I found the instructions lacking. It took me a few tries and patience to even get it to turn on (press the button down a few seconds). Then there was no guide on what temp to use. I was able to figure it out and not burn my hair off, but it was a learning process.

New favorite curling iron!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely loved this curling iron. I've never been able to get cascading curls that stay all day. The cooling feature on this is no joke. Effortless curls that are locked in all day even without hair spray. I loved the temperature control option (something my last curling iron didn't have) so I don't fry my hair. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to replace their ancient curling iron (or any curling iron) like me

This is extremely difficult to use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I attempted using this device on two separate occasions and it was time consuming and did not really work for me. The straightener portion was a pain to use. You physically have to hold down the one end of the straightener portion to close it enough to use that function. The curling function did not work for me at all. It left my hair with a very minimal wave that did not last more than an hour.

Ok Hair Styler
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Conair Cool Air Luxe Styler as part of a free sample program but all opinions are that of my own. I have naturally curly 3a hair. I used this product after blow drying and styling, since the styler is not supposed to be used on wet hair. In the provided booklet, it stated that for my hair type to use 355F temperature setting. I found it wasn't enough heat to straighten my hair in order to curl it. I had to use my hair straighter to straighten my hair, and then go back to the styler to curl my hair. There is a learning curve when using the styler to curl, but a little bit of practice and it end up making really nice curls. I really did like the cool air fan that was going when curling, it held the shape of the curls well. After a few hours though, most of the curls fell out of shape, and my hair had a wavy texture. I probably wouldn't use buy this product again since it felt like it was alot more work for me to use when I could have gotten the similar results with my blow dryer and straighter.
I would recommend this product depending on the person hair type. I found that this product doesn't work well for me with curly hair; however, if someone has straight or wavy hair type, I believe this product would work well for them.

Finally - a great hair tool!

I have to be honest, I was a bit skeptical about it at first - it seems as though you hear about new hair tools every other week so I wasn't sure if this would be a hit or a miss but I'm so happy It wasn't too good to be true. I love all of it's features. I'm so happy with it that I will be purchasing one for my friend as a gift. It is so easy to use!

Curls..straight…you are covered!

The cool air tech is there to set those curls in and does just that! From morning to evening you are good! If you want to wear a straight style, you can do that too! Waves..absolutely! I love that I can have one tool and use it for multiple styles. Which is less to pack when we travel lol.

It's easy to use, especially the curling iron part glides nicely on hair. It doesn't pull on the hair. The straightener part also works good. I like that you can control the fan part of it. It's definitely good for traveling since you get both straightener and curler in one.

Room for improvement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All around I found it more difficult and time consuming compared to other products that I use. It did leave my hair smooth and shiny in some parts but it was not easy to use. I used small sections of hair. The hair that wrapped around would tighten the plates, causing the hair to pass through to get stuck or pull hair out of scalp. The plates were too short and hair would slip out of side. There was no place for fingers to grip at the end for better control. Upon turning the device, I kept accidentally pressing buttons and turning off or turning up the temp.
Perhaps it would work better if it had small teeth on side of plates so hair can pass through without slipping out. Adding a knob at the end for fingers to grip for better control. Maybe switches instead of buttons would work better or a sliding cover that goes over the buttons.

Conair Cool Air Luxe Styler
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just recently got this Conair Cool Air Luxe Styler. Absolutely wonderful product! I love that it has multiple heat settings and love that it is a two in one product (hair dryer and straightener) cutting down the amount of time needed to style your hair. The cool dryer really helps hold the style for a longer period of time. Would recommend to others!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really fine hair and I love the waves this creates and for a night out is great. Unfortunately the curls with my hair don't hold long so isn't something i would be doing every day.
It took some time getting used to. I wish it opened further and the controls are a bit hard to navigate.
Overall I'm very happy to have a new look for going out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love multi use tools so this 2-in-1 is nice to have. Hair glides through smoothly and effortlessly. The straighten function works better than the curling function as the jaws don't open very wide. You can only work with a bit of hair at a time too so that can be very frustrating to someone with thick hair. Nice curls though once you figure it out.
