Great Steamer - But No Accessory Replacement!
I have used this steamer (GS59X) for over a year now, mostly to remove wrinkles from dress shirts. It does a very good job, especially when used with the silicon attachment that slightly stretches the fabric during steaming. My reason for rating the steamer 4 stars rather than 5 is due to wear of the silicone part of the attachment, and no option to buy a replacement part (according to their call center). Why would they not sell replacement accessories that are susceptible to wear over time? Very unfortunate, as it degrades product performance. Seems like an easy fix.

Great for Quick and Easy Wrinkle Release
I like the size of the steamer but it can be a little heavy which is why I won't complain about the size of the water reservoir. It would be much heavier if the reservoir were bigger, but it is the perfect size for a shirt or pants without tough wrinkles or you have to refill more than once. It heats up quickly and has a larger size nozzle to cover a larger area. I haven't used the attachments yet but see how they can prove useful.

Wasted Money
If you instruct someone to prime by filling the internal water tank, you should provide instructions on how to perform this procedure! The operating instructions were horrible! I’m so frustrated and will be returning this product due to it never steaming.

Does not work!
I purchased this because it was highly rated by Wirecutter. Unfortunately it does not create steam and I have to return it. Upon reviewing other reviews, I see same problem experienced by others. Very disappointing!

Love it
Wanted a steamer that worked in a vertical and horizontal position and vertical position. Heats up fast and does an awesome job steaming out wrinkles. Very happy with my purchase.

Great settings!
I bought this Conair steamer about a month ago and it's my new friend. Love that it's portable for me and I can take it on the go. One of my favorite things about this steamer is that you can use it like a traditional iron. Another thing is the small water compartment for the water, does not leak at all when ironing.

Works great and heats up fast.
I'm a photographer and I purchased this to steam the backdrops I use during photo sessions. The backdrops get super wrinkled when you have to transport them. Backdrops are pretty large at 8 X 10' or bigger sometimes. This steamer heats up quickly and puts out a generous amount of steam. It worked really well and made short work of my backdrop at yesterdays shoot. The model saw the steamer on the side and asked if she could us it to touch up her costume. It heats up so quickly she was done in a few minutes. Great purchase, also helps it's not very big and easy to transport.

Very disappointed
After only one use of the steamer on my golf shirt, decided to return the steamer. Can not get rid of the wrinkles completely, water spots appear on the shirt, item keeps steaming with the finger off the steam button. Takes too long steaming one garment. Had to finish it off with my iron to get the wrinkles completely off.

Used only twice before it stopped working
Had it for less than 30 days. Using it for a second time, main purpose for buying was to steam my suit and daughter's wedding dress. It stopped putting out steam, just making a knocking noise. Guess I didn't do my research before buying. Less learned!!!

I never write reviews, but they made it easy for me to review. I wish I had researched this better. I find the reservoir is not that easy to open. Then we have to pull away this tiny little plug, and pour water into this tiny little hole, and then put the tiny little rubber plug back in the tiny little hole. This seems like a huge pain. I don't even want to use it. If I hadn't thrown away the packaging, I would send this back for a refund.

I bought one and it was not working from day 1. It would heat but didn’t make a peep and no steam was happening whatsoever. Recently realized the main error was it wasn’t sucking up the water, so I pulled the reservoir off and saw a rubber seal with a hole on the device with a sensor/spring inside - it looked bent (not sure if that was the problem) so I stuck a toothpick and wiggled it around a bunch and BOOM it started making the sound - I quickly popped the reservoir back in and IT WORKED!!! A hassle, yes, but at least I don’t have to return now!

I purchased this product about a month ago with the impression that it would help me steam articles of clothing faster. It has not! I find this to be too big and cumbersome. The design looks amazing but it’s heavy and hard to maneuver. The add on piece has not been advantageous for me but I’ve only used the item twice so far. The crease clip takes getting used to with the placement on where the crease is or should be for steaming out the wrinkles. I have a smaller steamer that I will probably go back to and maybe revisit this one later on.

I found that this product works well when placing it directly on the fabric. When first using it I was hesitant about holding it against the item in fear that it would burn a hole into the delicate fabric. I started out with the lowest setting and held it a couple inches away. This did nothing and I was beginning to get discouraged. When I decided to be brave and to increase the heat a little bit (and put it directly onto my slacks), it worked perfectly! Love it!! I’ll have no hesitation in using this steamer again when necessary.

Works Great
I purchased this to get the wrinkles out of my new curtains without ironing them. It worked great! I also use it to flatten my diamond art pictures. Works fantastic. My only personal issue is the weight. My hands are not as young as they once were so I have to rest them more often because it is a bit heavy. But I am still happy with it.

Good, Quality and worth the value
Turbo ExtremeSteam Steam and Iron 2-in-1 with Turbo upholds the good name of Conair and vouches for its reliability and quality. I have been using for a month or so now, and felt it does exceotionally well what it supposed to. One drawback with all the handheld steamers is the back support when we hang the cloth being pressed, and our mindset of having an iron board which actually gives a helping hand. I wish there was an accessory which will not just hang but give us that additional hand to stretch and hold the cloth.
Having said that, there is a bit of learning/unlearning this appliance. Also, if you seriously need a crease or address a crevice in the cloth properly, then we are left only to conventional method of ironing..

Very good Conair fabric steamer.
We have been purchasing conair products for a very long time,because they produce a good product,and this fabric steamer is another in a long line of products we have purchased. It does the job of removing wrinkles from all kinds of fabrics and garments fast and easily. We hope to use it often on some garments that wrinkle in the dryer no matter what we do to prevent them from wrinkling. So far seems to be a very good purchase. We would recommend this to anyone who has an interest in the fabric steamer.

Won’t work
Opened the box finally after buying it when a store was going out of business. Of course I needed to use it today. It heats. Water is filled. But no steam. And I checked that the tube is clear by blowing bubbles though it.

Amazing Product
The garment steamer is truly awesome. It is quite easy to use on a multitude of attires. In my viewpoint, it is relatively efficient compared to the traditional iron in keeping clothes wrinkle-free; a considerable amount of time is saved when I am in a hurry during weekdays. One feature that I particularly love is that there are multiple steam settings to cater to different types of fabrics. I would highly recommend that individuals reading this review consider purchasing this handheld steamer!

I would not buy this!
I just bought this -- no steam coming out. I've been searching the internet to figure out how to prime it but the troubleshooting ideas aren't working. I would definitely not recommend buying this.

Great for it's size
I like this steamer, however, the water reservoir is small so I have to refill several times if steaming several pieces. And it's mostly womens' tops and light weight pants.
