The best!
I've been using this flat iron for 6+ years and this is the only one that will make my hair look like a professional did it! I am a young black woman with heat-trained hair that is typically fine on the ends and thick at the roots. Using this not only gets my hair bone straight, but I've used it 1x a week in my weekly wash routine and it has never contributed to any damage (if any). I'd definitely recommend this specific model over the other 1" flat irons carried by this brand, and over the Revlon flat iron I've currently been using as a substitute!

Not good!
I bought this straightener 3 weeks ago and I have problems with it when I set the temperature it will barely heat up and then shut off instantly. Even going to the lowest setting it just shuts off instantly. It says a 5 years warranty, hoping I just got a bad straightener out of all the good straighteners. I heard this was one of the best and when I finally was able to purchase one, and it wasnt cheap I am alittle disappointed…

Perfect for my hair type
I had bought another flat iron and it never helped my hair in. When I purchased the Conair flat iron it had not only held my hair but it worked perfectly with my fine hair. I have fine hair but I have a lot of it so it's nice to be able to straighten it or lightly curl it with the flat iron as I feel that day. I highly recommend this flat iron. It takes care of your hair as well it makes it look great.

Great product!
I have had this flat iron for about a month now and I am impressed with it! It leaves my hair smooth, soft and shiny the way it looks when professionally done. After chemotherapy my hair came back curly, rougher, and coarse. This flat iron has helped me feel back to my soft flat hair in a way others couldn’t do. I love it!!!

Disappointed
I bought this item a few weeks ago. I'm giving it three stars because it was a good price and looked great. However once I got home and turned it on, I was alarmed at the extreme heat I felt on the outside of the unit near the plates so unfortunately I unplugged it and returned it to the store without using it.

I love the thermostat!
I had one just like this I but after a number of years it lost the heat! So after 3 tries I finally got the same one with the heat thermostat. I have it up all the way and after washing my hair and using it my hair stays in shape not having to use it .

Wow, look at my before and afters
I haven’t had my hair straightened in 13yrs due me having locs and I recently combed them out, I knew I would need a trim so I purchased this straighter and I must say that I’m very impressed with the results. I hope this review and pics help.

I want the old ones back!
I love these irons! I loved them when they were purple now they have upgraded to these and they DO NOT work the same idk if they changed the plates but they don’t get as straight as the old model and I’m highly upset!
